Our Military is becoming increasingly Secular... The mark of a nation's might lies not in Jets, Tanks & Aircraft Carriers; but in its relationship to The Almighty God. David was judged for numbering the people- Israel's strength was to be the Lord, not the number of men (Second Samuel Chapter 24)

Throughout its short life, the Knights of the Levant defeated massive numerically superior Muhammadan foes. A Christian Army in rags, bereft of adequate arms, food or ammunition defeated the British Empire at the birth of our Nation.
"And now, Almighty Father,
If it is Thy holy will that we shall obtain a place and name among the nations of the earth, grant that we may be enabled to show our gratitude for Thy goodness by our endeavors to fear and obey Thee. Bless us with thy wisdom in our counsels, success in battle, and let our victories be tempered with humanity. Endow, also, our enemies with enlightened minds, that they become sensible of their injustice, and willing to restore our liberty and peace. Grant the petition of Thy servant, for the sake of whom Thou hast called Thy beloved Son; nevertheless, not my will, but Thine be done."

--George Washington
I have an alternative suggestion... How about we excuse Humanists & Atheists from military service?
"Let it be known through out the Empire, from this day, In the Name of Our God & Risen Savior, Jesus the Christ, that the burden of our defense will rest upon the Christians & their sons & daughters in perpetuity. All of the Godless are forevermore excused of any responsibility for the Empire's defense.
In return, the Godless shall suppress their hatred & unhappiness, & allow the Christian Warriors to worship as they see fit."

Of Dangerous Old Men...

Non nobis, Domine, non nobis, sed nomini tuo da gloriam!
Not unto us, o Lord, not unto us, but unto your name grant glory!

Holding One's Post

When I was a young soldier I was taught "General Orders"... The First of these was, "I will guard everything within the limits of my post and quit my post only when properly relieved."

What a tremendous charge is in those simple words. Singer/Songwriter Stan Clardy sums up the charge to the Christian Warrior in the Chorus of his song "Never Leave My Post"

"I will never leave my post. I have a duty to fulfill.
Though darkness gathers round me, I will try to do God's will.
For other are depending on me to hold my ground.
I will never leave my post, I will never let them down".

May our Great Captain Strengthen us for the struggle to come...

With my face to the enemy

Confederate Colonel Isaac Emory was fatally wounded on July 2nd, 1863 while leading his Brigade in an assault on Cemetery Hill. As he lay, unable to speak & paralyzed on his right side, he scrawled a brief note to his friend and second in command.

It said, “Major, tell my father I died with my face to the enemy. I.E. Avery”

What few words, what mighty action. As our foes, those who hate our God, wax strong, pray that we do likewise. Let it be our legacy-

“They died with their face to the enemy”.

We are The Free Order of Sergeants Templar. We list no genealogy nor trace no lineage to Any Templar Order.
Genealogies are necessary for the Nobility & Kings.
We are servants.
As such, the actions of our ancestors & men who went before us do not matter. The only thing that matters with servants is results.
We are a Military Order. As brothers of The Poor Knights of Christ, Soldiers, & Pilgrims upon this World we are bound to our Great Captain; Jesus the Christ. As such we must always walk with God and be more than mere men. We take upon ourselves the mantle of Sergeant Templar. As such we must behave with humility and be the most honorable, noble, polite and honest man that people deal with.
For all, the Templar should be an example of chivalry. In as much as possible, your behavior should give offense to none. Further no woman or child should fear anything from a Templar, neither his words nor his actions.
Those who take the mantle of Templar Sergeant must serve the Order and not expect to be served by it. Know that whatever you do is in the service of God and others without expecting reward.
Templars are the defenders of the faith;& the protectors of the weak. You are not to cause injury or harm to any of God’s creatures, be they human or beast, for profit, pleasure or vanity.
You should live each day as a critic of the previous day, so each new dawn will be a step towards greater nobility.
Where other men are weak, the Templar should through his courage demonstrate the strength of Christ.
Where fear has silenced the weak let the Templar’s voice bear witness.
Where desperation has robbed the weak of all hope, let the faith of the Templar give comfort.
A soldier of the temple must hold firm to their faith. But he must display kindness & wisdom to those who are in his power that they may be converted.
A Templar should obey his church & faith, for to compromise or disobey brings reproach to the Order & the name of Christ.
In demonstration of these principles such should be the conduct of a Templar
The Templar shall Pray at least 3 times daily.

The Templar shall set aside time daily for the reading & meditation on Scripture.

As a soldier, the Templar shall set aside time for daily physical Conditioning.

The Templar will not ignore evil.

The Templar shall not retreat from combat with Satan and his demons, nor from combat with those under their control or influence

The Templar shall never abandon a brother on the field

The Templar shall give full quarter to a surrendering foe.

The Templar shall not press the attack against an unworthy foe.

The Templar shall not be drunken

The Templar shall avoid licentious actions& pornography

The Templar’s word should be his bond

The Templar should not seek positions of honor in the order, but be content with whatever service he is called to do

The Templar should not judge anyone inside or outside the Order by their possessions or social position, but by their character and the goodness or lack thereof.

The Templar must be a true patriot to the land God has given him (Render unto Ceasar)

The Templar must not harm any creature or out of vanity or for sport.

The Templar must not kill any creature except for food or in self defense.
When I woke up today I was one of the defeated. I had fled my post & deserted my King. I was/am unworthy of my salvation & my calling. Because of me, & those like me, our Old Republic has been destroyed.

The evil ones rule. They sit in positions of power. They take titles of honor once reserved for the servant leaders of the Old Republic. The judges rule as princes. The evil, warped & deviant wear the robes of education. They indoctrinate our children with values foreign to us and our fathers sucking the life from our young.

The corrupt & perverse rule the airwaves. Their poison rots & eats at our souls. The once great churches are filled with vile serpents. As the first serpent, they beguile & deceive. They serve their Master.

I have not served mine. I know right. To me was given the Spirit of discernment. I was to stand as a Crusader; a knight of the Old Republic. Through my own fear & my own desires, I have not done the right. I have watched silently as the light has dimmed & the darkness spread. My sword has not tasted the blood of the Infidel. My shield has not protected my Lord or his people.

When I arose this morning, I was as the chaff, driven by the wind. I was beaten, frustrated, & being driven by the dark ones.

That was this morning. I have run all I am going to run. I don’t deserve grace. I don’t deserve another chance. But should my Lord, my Brother, my Captain touch me, should he who gives life but strengthen me, I will take my stand.

I humbly come to the Cross. I ask that my countless transgressions be placed under the shed blood of the Christ. I ask that God may return my sword & shield, that I may be emboldened & behave in a manner that is worthy of the Knight’s Mantle.

This night, I have come to my Acre. My Lord forms the walls. From here, there is no retreat. Let the demons & their servants gather. I pledge myself to the Lord God, to the defense of true Christians, to the protection of the weak & restoration of Godly Rule in this land.

May I love those who God loves. May I hate those who God hates.
Should I fall in its defense, I ask a good death that I may face those who have given all without shame.

My Sword, My shield, My all-
For Christ’s Glory- Amen"
